According to Wikipedia, technology "is a broad term dealing with the use and knowledge of humanity's tools and crafts." Perhaps one of the oldest technological advances known to man are eating utensils. And, out of all the eating utensils known to man, I know of none better than a pair of chopsticks.
These are pictures of my brother and sister using chopsticks during their (seperate) visits to Taiwan.
Sam is so good with chopsticks, he can even eat ice cream with them!! Here he is eating his fave flavors in Taiwan, which were mango and taro.

That's great! We use chopsticks all the time, but that's cause we were brought up in Hawai'i and it's a normal thing. Wow, that's cool that they have Taro in Taiwan.
I'm up early too.

Mangoes I love, poi (taro) I don't. I used to live in Hawai'i. :-) Never got into the poi though. LOL
Great and original take on this week's theme!

Wonderful pictures for today. I stink with chopsticks and don't think I would eat much ice cream using them - it'd melt!! LOL

HA! Good idea for the theme. Chopsticks are difficult for many, luckily not for me!
I played too.

Way to go too!!!! I've NEVER been able to master chopsticks.
And good thing I resort back to silverware or I'd miss out on such great oriental foods.
Mine's posted.

Such great photos. My husband and daughter are great with chopsticks and practice all the time. Me, I like my fork and spoon!
Thanks for stopping by my blog...you were right about the photo...it was my hubby and son playing with the video camera. Isn't it amazing how much kids want to be like their parents?
